I am the leader of the Council of the Tampere Region, the region´s promotion and cooperation in Europe and Finland. My goal is a sustainably successful international Tampere region. I am responsible for our results to the Regional Assembly and the Board.
In addition to lobbying for our regional interests, our main tasks in the office are the following: to follow EU programmes and funding opportunities, to identify the best possible partners for our projects and to brand the Tampere Region among our European partners. https://tampere-region.eu/en/
I am responsible for regional development planning and financing of development projects. Our Council also supports the regional developers by promoting their cooperation. I promote the interests of the region both in Finland and in the European Union.

I am responsible for the administration of the Council of the Tampere Region.
My responsibility is to lead the land use planning and transport team and to plan and develop operations together with the team. My special expertise is Transport System Design, but you can turn to me with any questions about land use, transport or environmental planning.

My job is to promote regional and European collaboration and RDI policies contributing to green and digital transitions and sustainable growth. My fields of expertise include emerging technologies and related national and European policy programs, networks and funding instruments.
