Important links

The Council of Tampere Region has a number of important interest groups within the region, in Finland and also abroad. Close co-operation partners include the municipalities of the Tampere Region, officials and organisations in the region, several international organisations as well as the media.

There is also co-operation with other regional councils and the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities.

The entire Tampere Region in one EU Office
The Tampere Central Region EU Office in Brussels was established in 1999 to follow EU programmes and funding opportunities, and to identify partners for regional actors. From the beginning of 2010, the EU Office will work with a new valuable partner, the Council of the Tampere Region, and will represent the entire Tampere Region.
